About Us

Rockwood Manor is a large stone Quaker style home built in 1854. The Manor was built by Joseph Tavennor who purchased the land in 1842, his descendants resided in the home until its sale in 1937. The woodwork in the living room painted to represent marble is amongst the many original features of the Manor.

This Manor has been elegantly renovated. The Manor is full of bright natural light and is the perfect space for the bridal party for preparations and photos on the day of the event.

Red Door Barn

The Red Door Barn is an over 200 years old bank barn. We have taken extra care and special attention to maintain the rustic charm of the barn while upgrading the facility to meet all your modern day needs. Our 3000 square foot barn can comfortably hold 175 of your guests. We have installed beautiful lighting, dance floor, a large reception patio, five temperature controlled private bathrooms including an ADA accessible bathroom, and a working space for your caterer. It is a perfect space to feel blissful connection to purity, history, nature, love, and each other.

Peugh Patent House

The Peugh Patent House dates back to the 1770’s. It was the original patent house for this parcel of land in Hamilton. We feel very honored to have the opportunity to preserve and share this historic cabin. It has been renovated to include all modern day amenities including a full bath and kitchen. It also serves as the perfect space for the groom to relax with his friends and family before the festivities. This romantic escape is available for overnight accommodations.
